Beyond sleeping on your mattress, there is nothing you need to do in order to naturally break-in your mattress. However, if you’d like to expedite this adjustment period, please see below
- To help aerate your mattress’s fibers and foams, carefully walk across or gently bounce on the sleep surface
- For mattresses with encased springs, help the mattress expand by gently tugging on the sleep surface’s edges (Please note: this is not a recommended technique for all-foam mattresses.)
- For the first 24 hours, place your mattress in a well ventilated space. This will help any slight odors to quickly dissipate and help your mattress to fully aerate
